Mass Delete Outages
There are times when a monitor or monitors are created and there are extra unforeseen things that need to be done that cause the monitors to fail and issue false alerts/outages. Cleaning up these false alerts are a nuisance when you have to clean them up manually and only capable of doing so one by one. It would be nice to be able to multi-select Outages on a monitor and group level and be able to mass delete to clean up monitors.
Site24x7 and the recent Apache Log4j vulnerability
On December 09, 2021, a severe vulnerability (CVE- 2021-4422) was disclosed in the popular Java logging library Log4j 2 versions- 2.0 to 2.14.1, that results in remote code execution (RCE) by logging a certain string. You can find the details of this vulnerability here: https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/security.html Though there were a few attempts, we didn't find any traces or evidence of a successful exploitation. As we also possess some third-party components that could be potentially vulnerable,
Monitor active directory
Hi, How do I monitor Active Directory on a Hyper-V server that already has a 24/7 agent installed on it?
Time Drift Monitoring
Hi, In most IT environments, the time accuracy of a Server is very important, especially amongst Active Directory servers' synchronization. So, can Site247 monitors whether a Windows Server's time has drifted off from the time zone by X minutes, and alert us? Eg. the Time Zone is 2.40pm, but the Windows Server time is 2.53pm, so alerts the administrators on this time issue. If yes, can it also do an IT automation, to automatically runs the Time Sync command, against the specified time source? Thanks.
Maintain consistent time across servers using NTP Check
Hey there! We are glad to announce that Site24x7 has extended its Resource Check monitoring to support Server time drift monitoring with the latest Network Time Protocol (NTP) Check. This new feature helps you monitor your server clock drift, receive instant alerts, and ensure consistent time across your servers. Why do you need NTP Check? Your applications might produce inconsistent reports and incorrect logs when your server time does not synchronize with the global internet time. This might lead
AWS Custom Cloudwatch metric and AWS Cloudwatch Alarm ingestion
I notice that you poll the Cloudwatch API to get metric ingestion for a number of AWS products, but are missing the ability to ingest Custom Cloudwatch metrics. We produce custom metrics, and would really like to be able to use them in Site 24x7. They tend to have a pretty standard 5 minute polling interval. Currently there are about 20 of these metrics we alert on using Cloudwatch Alarms. Even having the ability to ingest Cloudwatch alarms would be a great start.
High CPU Usage (javaw.exe)
Hello, We have noticed high CPU upage from javaw.exe on all on site pollers. They are running at 40-50% even on the backup pollers. Please advise as how to resolve! Thanks!

AWS Batch helps you to schedule and execute batch jobs on AWS cloud. It optimizes the compute resources, and saves you the time of installing software or server clusters that you use to run your jobs. By integrating
Creation of Configuration Rules via API
Hey All, Recently we have been using the product and are looking to create some quick onboarding scripts for MSP Customers. Running into some issues creating Configuration Rules via API Getting the following error message "error_code":1121,"message":"OAuth Scope associated to the OAuth Access Token is disallowed." Scopes for the Access Token are Site24x7.Admin.All,Site24x7.Operations.All,Site24x7.Msp.All Looking at the documentation I see that there is no section for creating Rules is this a limitation
Inventory and Notes section.
For any given monitor there is an Inventory and Notes tab. Inventory provides what one would expect, however I cannot locate how you would add notes here. Ideally we would be able to add some more detailed description on how to troubleshoot that specific monitor and system. Perhaps link to relevant documentation on an internal KB. I've looked for docs and forum posts on this and only found one doc detailing just the following. "Inventory and Notes: This section captures the basic monitor information

Refresh Dashboard NOC Viewer
Good afternoon everyone. my NOC Viewer screen on the MSP tab does not update in my browsers or my TV's. The page stays static and for me to see some stuffing I have to update manually. On my TV's the screens simply expire the access and I have to log in again. My question is: How can I solve this problem so that the important information in my park is displayed correctly without the need for manual updating? Thank you

Elasticsearch slow logs
We are happy to announce that you can now monitor and review Elasticsearch slow logs using Site24x7 AppLogs. If you are experiencing poor search performance, it is crucial to keep an eye on the different searching and indexing request types in Elasticsearch to locate the problematic indices or slow-performing queries. Slow queries are those that take longer to execute than a threshold limit and are often caused by the following: Poorly written search queries with improper criteria Poorly configured

Visualize a response ( values ) of API request and map to a chart ( dashboard ).
Hi team, How are you today? Imagine that a have a API that return for the response below ( json format ). { "system_health": 40 } I need to display this counter ( numeric value ) and be able to visualize the historical data at the this monitor page and then display it in a dashboard ( like a chart ). this is a very basic feature, i got surprised that the solution do not included. Would you please evaluate this request? Best Regards! Marcelo Marcon
Multiple Line Chart Graph - Any way to not stack them?
Hello, I am using the Custom dashboard Multi Attribute Widget to graph some database values on one chart. But it seems the only option is for a stacked line chart. IE - the multiple values stack on top of each other instead of displaying across one axis value. Is there any way to make the multiple values NOT stack, similar to your CPU chart below. If I have 4 lines with the value of 20, I want all of them to be on the same horizontal line, not adding the values up like 20-40-60-80.

Correct culture-dependent DateTime Formats
Dates and times on the status pages are shown in strange formats, at least for the German audience. It would be nice to see correctly formatted date and time information, most important using the 24hrs-clock instead of the 12hrs-clock, when German language is selected on the status page. Comments in red showing correct German formats.

APM Transactions for GraphQL
I have several services which expose a GraphQL API. In contrast to REST, GraphQL uses one endpoint URL for all requests, e.g.: POST /graphql Content-type: application/json { "query": "query list_friends($characterName: String!) { character(name: $characterName) { friends { name } } }", "variables": { "characterName": "Luke Skywalker" } } 200 OK Content-type: application/json { "data": { "character": { "friends": [ { "name": "Leia Organa" }, { "name": "Han Solo " } ] } } } APM's

U2F/WebAuthn devices are unusable if name is ≥ 11 chars
Bug? This likely affects all Zoho services, including Site24x7, but as of recently (unsure exactly when), U2F/WebAuthn-based Multi-Factor Authentication cannot be used if the user-defined device name is 11 characters or more. My WebAuthn device has been registered for more than 1 year with a longer name, and at least as of today, authentication using that device fails. Attempting to re-register the device will not allow a user-defined device name of 11 characters or more, and will prevent registration
